Meet Amy
Amy was born in the town of Rockdale Georgia. Her family vacationed and spent weekends in Hiawassee and in 2019 they moved to Hiawassee full time. Growing up Amy had a household full of dogs, rabbits and hamsters.
In High School Amy participated in Future Farmers of America (FFA) and served as chapter president winning state awards and receiving her State Degree which allowed her to be eligible for the American Degree. Upon graduation Amy began working at breeding and show barns for horses and for the local Humane Society. Later Amy had the opportunity to work for a veterinary clinic, where her passion for animal care really sparked. Ultimately her journey brought her to Big Bear Veterinary Clinic bringing with her knowledge and passion for animals.
Amy loves the outdoors and in her spare time you can find her fishing, hiking or camping.
